About:

Hi, I’m Sheila, founder of Root & Ripple and your point of contact. After 10 years in corporate marketing, I took the best bits of everything I learned and turned a part-time freelance side gig into a full-time business in 2023.

Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to work with clients across a wide range of industries, including retail, manufacturing, consumer tech, arts, social services, education, food science, finance, cannabis, health & wellness, and more.

In sitting through many meetings with many people from many backgrounds, I realized a Fortune 500 outdoor retail company isn’t all that different from a local screen-printing shop: everyone struggles to get good ideas off the ground.

Be it logistics or market conditions, lack of resources or competing stakeholder opinions, many great initiatives never reach their full potential because of controllable factors.

Root & Ripple is focused on delivering efficient, transparent work environments that allow unique ideas, people, and solutions to rise. We do our part to protect authenticity in an increasingly inauthentic world—not just because it sounds good, but because it makes a real difference.

Our People:

Root & Ripple Collective.
For certain projects, Root & Ripple partners with select creative professionals, such as graphic designers, illustrators, videographers, and custom web developers to deliver truly captivating brand experiences. If you’re a creative professional interested in future collaborations, please let us know!

More About Me, Sheila.
I have a wild German Shepherd, a diabetic cat, and a blue-collar fiancé who has no idea what I do for work. I graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with a BA in Organizational Communication, and a minor in Child, Youth, and Family Studies - because that makes sense. Free-time? Leaving the Midwest for prettier places, making people take personality assessments, storm chasing, creative writing, karaoke, and organizing people’s closets.
